Oct. 5, 2016—Maaco, America’s largest franchise for paint and collision repair, plans to enter the Wichita, Kan., market within the next six months. The Wichita Eagle reported that Maaco will likely add two or three stores in the area.

Maaco is part of Charlotte, N.C.-based Driven Brands, which has more than 3,000 stores nationally, nearly 500 of which are Maaco stores. The 7,000-square-foot stores typically do $1.2 million in sales annually, with seven to 10 employees per store. Franchises cost $250,000-$350,000, and the company says franchisees typically have a net annual income of $192,240.
