Green Standard Committee Announces New Member

Oct. 28, 2015

Oct. 28, 2015—The Green Service Standard Committee (GS2) announced on Tuesday that Daryll O’Keefe of Fix Auto Canada will take over the active role of participation on the committee for Steve Leal, president of Fix Auto World.

The change will take place after the SEMA show wraps up in Las Vegas next week.

“Daryll’s knowledge of the collision repair industry makes him the perfect person to help the committee establish standards consistent with both the U.S. and Canadian vehicle efficiency regulations,” said Leal.

“As a new addition to our committee, Daryll O’Keefe, Fix Auto Ontario general manager, has worked closely with me for the past few months as a sounding board and collaborator on many of the strategies we are now implementing. The addition of Daryll’s deep management experience and technology background will help further propel our committee’s mission to develop customer-confidence in emissions rating standards,” said Steven Schillinger, GS2 committee chairman.

“I am honored that I have been appointed to serve as a contributor on GS2 committee,” said O’Keefe. “I am excited to accept this position of guidance. I will use my skills and remain committed to serving the committee on behalf of Fix Auto Canada.”
