G&C Auto Body Donates Vehicles to California Wildfire Victims

Nov. 24, 2015—G&C Auto Body, located in Santa Rosa, Calif., announced that it has partnered with State Farm Insurance and Enterprise Rent-A-Car to help victims of the valley fire in Lake County.

On Nov. 15, G&C Auto Body gave away two cars to families who were victims of the recent valley fire in Lake County, the third largest wildfire in California history. State Farm Insurance and Enterprise Rent-A-Car each donated a vehicle for G&C to refurbish and repair for the families. Both the G&C Rohnert Park and Santa Rosa shops prepared the cars to be given away at the large fundraising event being put on by Lawrence

The cars were presented to the families by Govinda Crozat, the program director of the Crozat Family Foundation, Mike Melville of enterprise Rent-A-Car and State Farm agent Nanette Dutcher, a Lake Port agent whose agency had many clients effected by the wild fire.

Additionally, the Crozat Family Foundation gave each of the families $750 in gift certificates and G&C Auto Body donated $5,000 to the “Putting out the Fire” fundraising event.

G&C Auto Body employees and friends also donated $3,364, which was matched by G&C to total $6,728 in contributions to the victims of the valley fire.
