May 19, 2014—I-CAR will unveil a new training course called Advanced Steering and Suspension Systems Damage Analysis (DAM15) June 9.
The interactive, instructor-led course will replace the Electronically Controlled Steering and Suspension Systems (STE05) that was previously offered.
DAM15 provides detailed information on the considerations for inspecting steering and suspension systems, and aims to provide information on increasing efficiency and creating positive customer experiences.
“Advanced steering and suspension systems are common in today’s vehicles and if not repaired properly, other vehicle systems can be compromised,” said Josh McFarlin, I-CAR director of curriculum and product development. “Repairers can apply knowledge learned in this course throughout the repair process.”
The 3-credit one-hour course meets training requirements for estimators, auto physical damage appraisers and electrical/mechanical technicians in I-CAR’s Professional Development Program.
