While “lean” has become a buzzword in the collision repair industry over the past few years, only 40 percent of shop owners said they have incorporated lean processes into their businesses to improve efficiency, according to the 2015 FenderBender How I Work survey. While those lean strategies may vary, a number of patterns emerge as common characteristics of the lean shop.
