J&R Collision Acquires Halbrook Auto Body & Paint

April 1, 2016—J&R Collision Centers announced Thursday that it has acquired Halbrook Auto Body & Paint, which operates three locations in Shelbyville, Ill. 

“Brian and Cindy Halbrook have spent nearly three decades building a first class collision center for the Shelbyville community. We couldn’t be happier that they chose to pass the torch to us, so we can continue to provide the Shelbyville community with the highest level of service,” said Jake Buhnerkempe, co-founder of J&R Collision Centers. “This is a big step forward for us, as our goal is to continually reach out to area communities to provide them with a first class service.”

All Halbrook Auto Body employees will transition with the acquisition and remain with the collision center.
