Nov. 8, 2011—The Women’s Industry Network (WIN) on Monday announced it created a Friends of WIN donation category on its website, which allows individuals and organizations to support the organization even if they cannot make the level of contribution required to be a corporate or event sponsor.

“We recognized there were individual people and businesses that wanted to support WIN and our mission to engage women in collision repair. We created an avenue for them to do so outside of corporate and event sponsorships,” said Victoria Jankowski, claims consultant for State Farm Insurance and chair of WIN. “Any person or business can now support WIN through our Friends of WIN donation category and they will be recognized on our website as a supporter of WIN. We are thankful for each and every one of our supporters.”

WIN is also accepting online registration and payment for 2012 membership through its website, womensindustrynetwork.com. Current and new members can complete an online registration form and pay dues using a credit card through a secure payment site, according to WIN.

WIN said membership is open to all women and men from all segments of the collision repair industry. The fee for 2012 membership is $75 for industry professionals and $25 for industry students. Any memberships received prior to Dec. 31 will include 2012.

WIN is a nonprofit organization dedicated to encouraging, developing and cultivating opportunities to attract women to collision repair. The organization recognizes excellence, promotes leadership and fosters a network among women who are shaping the industry.
