Nissan Appoints Head of Philanthropy

Nissan North American announced Parul Bajaj has been named senior manager, philanthropy.

July 18, 2019—Nissan North America recently announced Parul Bajaj has been named senior manager, philanthropy.

She will be responsible for leading NNA's corporate giving and philanthropic strategy for the U.S. Bajaj is also named executive director, Nissan Foundation, overseeing activities related to the Foundation's ongoing support of educational programs that celebrate and foster diversity.

Bajaj replaces Vicki Smith, who retires from Nissan at the end of July after more than 30 years at the company.

Bajaj joined the Nissan Corporate Communications team in March 2016 and brings extensive experience from Bridgestone and FedEx. Since then, she has held positions of increasing responsibility in corporate and manufacturing communications. Most recently, she completed an 18-month assignment with the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi communications team, based in Paris.
