NACE 2010: Mitchell: RepairCenter goes mobile with iPad app

Oct. 12, 2010

October 12, 2010—Mitchell International Inc. announced on Tuesday the launch of RepairCenter for the Apple iPad.

RepairCenter mobile application gives repairers access to customer and job tracking, task management and vehicle repair status. Mobility also gives them access to information on the go and the ability to write estimates quickly in the field from the iPad or the iPhone, according to a Mitchell press release_notes. Repairers attending NACE Expo can try the new RepairCenter app at the Mitchell booth.

As the demands of the modern shop and the modern shop manager evolve, Mitchell is committed to evolving its technology to ensure those facilities operate as efficiently as possible," said Jason Bertellotti, vice president of repair solutions for Mitchell.

The app will be available for commercial use in the first quarter of 2011.
