Longtime S.C. Auto Glass Repair Chain Sold

Glasspro, a South Carolina-based chain of automotive glass repair stores, was recently sold to Safelite.

Jan.. 9, 2019—Glasspro, a South Carolina-based chain of automotive glass repair stores, was recently sold to Safelite.

According to a report by postandcourier.com, the deal was completed on Jan. 4, and transfers Glasspro’s 11 South Carolina locations to Safelite, the country’s largest automotive glass company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

All of the stores involved in the transaction will retain the Glasspro name, the company confirmed. Prior to the sale, Safelite owned 21 locations in South Carolina.
