Canadian Collision Industry Luminary Passes Away

John Norris passed away on May 28, at the age of 66.

June 4, 2019—John Norris, an active board member for collision industry groups and an executive director of Collision Industry Information Assistance, passed away on May 28. He was 66. 

CIIA released a statement saying Norris will be missed by many friends and colleagues.  An active environmentalist and organizer, he was honored as Hamilton (Ontario) Environmentalist of the Year. 

He leaves behind his wife, Annette, children, Teresa (Patrick) Welch, Richard and Jeffrey and grandchildren Quinn and Owen. He is survived by his brother, Robert Norris.

The family will receive friends on Thursday at Cresmount Funeral Home in Hamilton from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A private family funeral and cremation will follow. Memorial contributions to Diabetes Canada and Hamilton Conservation Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Online condolences can be made here.
