Gerber Acquires 11 Mich. Locations

Gerber Collision & Glass on Monday announced its acquisition of a large MSO in Michigan.

March 11, 2019—The Boyd Group Inc. on Monday announced its recent acquisition of a multi-store operation consisting of 11 collision repair locations in Michigan. The repair centers, which previously operated under the names of Dusty's Collision, Whitney's Collision, or Wright Brothers Collision, are located in eastern and central Michigan. 

Dusty's Collision, which makes up seven of the 11 aforementioned facilities, had originated in 1995 in Ann Arbor. 

"The addition of these new locations allows us to bring our brand of service to new customers and better assist our insurance partners," said Tim O'Day, the president and COO of the Boyd Group, in a company press release. 

The Boyd Group Inc. operates locations in Canada under the name Body Autobody & Glass and Assured Automotive, as well as 27 U.S. states under the trade name of Gerber Collision & Glass.
