Top-selling Uniroyal tire dealers honored with vacations, cash awards

Nine Uniroyal retailers are set for a happy holiday season, having been declared winners of the tire maker’s “Ticket to Travel” dealer contest for posting the highest percentage of sales growth in selling the company’s tires during the months of July and August.

The prize options consist of vacation trips or money awards.

“We are very committed to maintaining strong relationships with our dealers, and the winners of this contest are great examples of that dedication,” says Ashley Ramos, Uniroyal’s marketing communications manager. “We have seen a great response from dealers about our new products and look forward to continued shared success.”

The Grand Prize winners, who choose from international getaways or a cash payout, include:
• Ron Burt of Burt Brothers Tire & Service, Inc., North Salt Lake, Utah
• Mark Rhodes of Plaza Tire Service Inc., Cape Girardeau, Mo.
• Doug Miller of St. Lucie Battery & Tire Company, Fort Pierce, Fla.
• Parham Parastaran of Car-X Tire and Auto, Champaign, Ill.

The first place winners, who select from either vacations within the continental U.S. or money awards, include:

• Dominic Umek at Conrad’s Tire Service, Inc., Cleveland, Ohio
• Tom Whalen at Whalen Tire, Inc., Butte, Mont.
• Steve Shanley at American Tire & Auto Care, Inc., Green Brook, N.J.

• Jim Moody at Moody’s Quality Recappers, Franklin, Tenn.
