Content provided by the Automotive Service Association (ASA) was recently featured in the Los Angeles Times in a supplemental section created by MediaPlanet, an independent publisher of focused reports distributed with leading newspapers and online sites.
The "Panel of Experts" section featured four ASA members who participated in a question-and-answer section providing motorists with auto safety advice. Members included, Bill Moss, AAM, Ferris Automotive Inc. Warrenton, Va.; David Kusa, Autotrend Diagnostics, Campbell, Calif.; Diane Larson, AAM, Larson's Service Inc., Peabody, Mass.; and Betty Jo Young, AAM, Young's Automotive Center, Houston, Texas.
"As members of ASA's Mechanical Division Operations Committee, we were grateful for the opportunity to share our expertise in this way. Educating the public and arming consumers with correct information is critical to the safe and economical operation of the motor vehicles we service and repair each day," says Moss, who serves as ASA's Mechanical Division director.
The publication is currently available online and can be conveniently accessed from the home page of ASA's website at
www.ASAshop.org.
Copies of the publication will be available at the ASA booth (N2152) during the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS), both held during Automotive Service and Repair Week in Las Vegas Oct. 10-13. ASA will also hold three drawings for a Flip video camera giveaway during the ASRW Expo. Stop by the ASA booth for details.
