For the 11th year, Uniroyal is partnering with community soccer
leagues and tire dealers across the country to encourage kids to
get out on the pitch and play.
The company is also sponsoring a new contest and assorted
giveaways to benefit youth soccer players, their families and
fans.
“The Uniroyal Soccer Program is built on strong community roots
and partnerships,” says marketing communications manager Ashley
Ramos.
“As our program continues to grow, we strive to give children
and families more opportunities to get involved in the game each
year,” she adds. “The program and these giveaways support both
physical activity and creativity, two important parts of
childhood.”
Another element of the program is the revealing of the winning
Uniroyal soccer ball design; the sphere has had a new look each
year since the founding of the campaign in 2000.

This year brings the first-ever Uniroyal Soccer Ball Design
Challenge, giving soccer devotees a chance to create the
graphics adorning the next edition. Prizes include an Apple
iPad, a set of Uniroyal tires, $500 worth of car care services
and cash awards.
The contest continues through Oct. 15.
Uniroyal dealers also have two other sweepstakes in play: The
$100 Monthly Gift Card Giveaway and the Soccer Ball-A-Day
Giveaway.
