Mechanic-on-Duty (MOD), a membership services company, is another company promoting services for today's consumers to help them from running into less-than-savvy repair shop operations.
The company claims to offer consumers access to people with years of knowledge and expertise while they stand with their technician.
“Auto repair problems are confusing for the average consumer,” says Martin Conlon, CEO and Founder of Mechanic-On-Duty. “When a consumer becomes a member of Mechanic-on-Duty, their auto repair problem becomes our problem and we use our years of expertise to ensure that their car is fixed correctly at an affordable and fair price.”
As an affordable, membership-based service, MOD claims to provide motorists with unlimited access to its in-house team of professional auto repair specialists. When a consumer becomes a MOD member, the company's repair specialists work with the consumer’s repair person, to determine three main points:
1) Establish that the proper diagnostic approach was utilized for their vehicle.
2) To audit the facility’s cost to repair the vehicle.
3) To determine if the vehicle is at the right type of repair facility given the nature of the repair.
“As the CEO of two auto warranty companies, this experience and expertise has been replicated in the MOD team, and is available to our members for only $6.99 monthly or $75.50 for an annual membership," Conlon says. "(Consumers) can rely on us as much as you need. We will be (their) mechanic-on-duty for less than 25 cents a day.”
