Building upon its local youth soccer program with leagues across the U.S., Uniroyal is kicking off its Uniroyal Soccer Ball Design Challenge. The contest gives players and fans the opportunity to show off their creativity by designing the graphics to adorn the company’s 2011 giveaway soccer ball.
“Since the Uniroyal Soccer Program started 11 years ago, we have given away more than 1 million soccer balls through our community tire dealers across the country, and one of the most anticipated parts of the program is the introduction of the ball each year,” reports communications manager Ashley Ramos.
“The Uniroyal Soccer Ball Design Challenge is another way for the soccer community to get involved with our program,” she says. “This allows people the chance to get creative and have fun with the ball, which is the centerpiece of our program.”
The winner receives a prize pack that includes 50 soccer balls featuring his or her design, $1,000 and a set of the company’s tires.
