Fikse hires wheel industry vet to lead sales and marketing team

Fikse Wheels has hired Alan Baylis as vice president of sales and marketing. Baylis, who started April 10, oversees all dealer and direct sales for Fikse.

Fikse Wheels has hired Alan Baylis as vice president of sales and marketing. Baylis, who started April 10, oversees all dealer and direct sales for Fikse.

Baylis, an industry veteran, has over 20 years of experience working in the wheel industry. Baylis began his career at Eurorep Inc. (Gotti/Etoile wheels) where he learned about the high performance aftermarket wheel industry from the ground up. He started in the manufacturing department and quickly moved up into sales. Later he joined HRE in their sales department and was promoted to sales manager.

More recently, Baylis led Kinesis Motorsport to become a respected manufacturer in the forged wheel industry, Fikse reports.

Fikse Wheels recentlywas acquired by Kodiak Motorsports Inc. Kodiak has been making high performance wheels for more than10 years and supports countless professional teams in North America. Kodiak has brought its advanced manufacturing techniques and engineering experience to Fikseʼs consumer oriented wheel designs, to improve performance and offer quicker turn around on custom orders.
