KOI Auto Parts recently brought together some of the best custom cars in the Midwest through its annual Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo and Trade Show in Cincinnati.
“It was another great weekend to see some of the best custom cars in the Midwest,” sasy Dave Wesselman, president of KOI Auto Parts. “For our customers, it was an opportunity to take advantage of some excellent training programs and meet with Federated’s manufacturing partners to learn more about our high-quality brand name product lines.”
Held Jan. 8-10 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, the Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo and Trade Show is an annual event sponsored by KOI, a Federated member. The Customs show, which celebrated its 50th year, is open to the public.
The Training and Trade Show is held for KOI customers and featured training sessions from some of Federated’s manufacturing partners, including AC Delco, Denso, Affinia, Standard and Bosch. In addition, training classes were held for body shop customers.
“As in years past, the emphasis on all this training was to help our customers through product information and repair procedures,” says Wesselman. “We had approximately 550 techs, managers and shop owners that took our classes, 100 more than last year. We try to bring in new classes each year to keep up with the ever-changing automotive technology.”
Product display booths were also set up outside the training classes so KOI customers could learn more about supplier product lines. A Federated Car Care Center booth was also on-site for current and potential members to find out more about the benefits of being a Federated Car Care Center.
