The Automotive Service Association (ASA) and the International Automotive Technicians’ Network (iATN) will jointly sponsor the seventh annual Service Professionals Industry Reception Thursday, Nov. 6, from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. in South Seas Ballroom Level 3 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center (South Convention Center) in Las Vegas. The event will be an excellent opportunity for service professionals to visit and network with fellow professionals in a relaxed setting, featuring light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar. No registration is required nor is there a fee to attend.

The reception will take place during the ASRW (Nov. 5-8), AAPEX (Nov. 4-6) and SEMA (Nov. 4-7) shows, in conjunction with ASA’s Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS), to be held Nov. 5-8.

“CARS continues to be the place to find top-quality technical training and management classes. But just as important, it provides excellent networking opportunities for all service and repair professionals,” says Ron Pyle, ASA’s president and chief staff executive. “We’re pleased to be able to partner with iATN to offer this reception in conjunction with the inaugural activities of ASRW and the move to the Mandalay Bay.”

Brent Black, iATN founder and president, says, “iATN members are part of a large online community and they really enjoy the reception and the opportunity it provides to go ‘offline’ and meet face-to-face with technicians from around the world who share common goals and challenges.”

Information about the reception is available at www.CARSevent.com, http://members.iatn.net/meetings/vegas08 or www.ASRWnow.com.
