July 30, 2013—3M Automotive Aftermarket is expanding its 3M Perfect-It Quick Connect System with new six-inch pads for contoured panels, large and small panels, bumpers, door jams, hard-to-reach spots and recessed areas.
The six-inch pads, along with the previous nine-inch pads, reduce wobbling and eliminate single-sided pad fly-offs during polishing jobs, according to 3M.
The pads are available in traditional tufted wool and low lint wool as well as high-quality foam.
“The 3M Perfect-It Quick Connect System has been a great innovation for repair technicians who want speed and productivity on their polishing jobs combined with excellent results,” said Mike Conway, marketing manager for vehicle appearance markets for 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division.
