NACE 2010: I-CAR: Edelen’s replacement to be named by Dec. 1

Oct. 12, 2010

Oct. 11, 2010, LAS VEGAS—I-CAR expects to name a new president and CEO by Dec. 1, the organization announced Monday during a press conference at NACE.

Tom Moreland, strategic sales manager for AkzoNobel and chairman of the I-CAR board of directors, said I-CAR’s search committee has interviews scheduled with candidates over the next two weeks.

I-CAR is very confident a new CEO is within that candidate pool, Moreland said.

“The search process is moving along a very aggressive timeline,” Moreland said. “The search committee has done a lot of work and has been dedicated to this process.”

John Edelen, I-CAR’s current president and CEO, plans to retire by year-end 2010.
