NAPA Raising Money for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund

July 3, 2013

July 3, 2013—NAPA Auto Parts is once again launching its "Get Back and Give Back" campaign to support the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF), a not-for-profit organization that serves U.S. military personnel wounded or injured in service, and their families.

This year, the campaign is raising funds to build new facilities focused on the diagnosis and treatment of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injuries.

To make an automatic $10 donation, text 'NAPA' to 27722. NAPA is also offering customers mail-in rebates of up to $25 for every battery, alternator or starter they purchase during July. Customers then can choose to donate all or part of the rebate to IFHF.

As part of the campaign, NAPA employees will swap out their traditional blue and yellow uniforms for grey IFHF shirts that bear the slogan, "We Believe in Heroes." The shirts also will be on sale, along with matching camouflage wristbands, on NAPAonline.com. All proceeds from merchandise sales will go to the IFHF.

The campaign, which raised more than $350,000, set a $1 million goal this year with 100 percent of the proceeds going to IFHF.
