IHS to Complete Polk Acquisition by mid-July

July 5, 2013—Global business information provider IHS Inc. said Wednesday that its acquisition of R.L. Polk and Co., a provider of automotive information and marketing solutions, will be finalized the week of July 15.

Englewood, Colo.–based IHS said it was granted early termination of the waiting period under federal antitrust regulations.

IHS announced plans to acquire Polk earlier in June in a deal valued at $1.4 billion.
