NABC wants 150 cars for Recycled Rides project

Feb. 8, 2010

Feb. 8, 2010--The National Auto Body Council (NABC) has launched its 2010 Recycled Rides project with a goal of 150 vehicle donations.

Recycled Rides is a community awareness project that repairs and donates vehicles to families in need.

NABC already has commitments for 90 vehicle donations.

“Whether you be an independent repairer, a dealership shop, a multiple shop organization or a consolidator, this program is open for participation by all repairers,” said Liz Stein, NABC marketing committee co-chairwoman. “Our goal is to pair a vehicle with every repairer that wants to participate.”

Repairers interested in participating in the Recycled Rides project must apply at autobodycouncil.org by June 1.
