Dec. 7, 2011—The Assured Performance Co-Op Network, a network of nearly 3,500 independently owned collision repair businesses in the U.S., recently appointed Liz Stein as its new executive director.

Stein has worked in the collision repair industry for more than eight years. She most recently served as director of membership and marketing for Fix Auto USA.

Stein—who holds a degree in public administration from California State University of Long Beach—also serves on the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) executive board, and is a member of the Women's Industry Network (WIN).

"We are thrilled to have Liz joining us to work closely with our members and help drive our Certification and Collision Care programs. She is a perfect fit to help our massive national network mature," said Scott Biggs, CEO of the Assured Performance Network.

"This new position capitalizes on my skills and passion, and is a perfect advancement in my career,” Stein said. “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be involved in an organization that is committed to bettering the opportunities and longevity of the independent body shop owner who is the foundation of what makes our country so great."
