Feb. 6, 2014—Registration is now open for the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s annual summer golf fundraiser. The event will take place at Northville Hills Golf Club in Detroit, Mich., on July 31.
The event, which assists in the foundation’s student and school collision programs, is expected to sell out by April.
Early-bird individual player registration is $225 per person ($900 for a team of four) before April 1. The fee increases after that to $275 per person, and $1,100 per team. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, complimentary beverages and snacks on the course, lunch, dinner, attendee promotional items, and the opportunity to participate in several contests on the course.
Industry professionals who might not be able to attend the event can partake in the helicopter golf ball drop fundraiser that will take place as part of the event, presented by LORD Corporation. Individuals can sponsor golf balls ($25 each ball or five for $100) that will be dropped from a helicopter over a hole on the Northville Hills Golf Club course the day of the event. In recognition of the Education Foundation’s 23rd anniversary, whoever sponsors the numbered golf ball that goes in the hole (or the closest to the pin) will win 23 percent of the golf ball sales. Participants do not need to be present to win.
Those interested in registering, sponsoring, and/or participating with the golf ball drop fundraiser should contact director of development Brandon Eckenrode at [email protected] or 847.463.5244. Registration is also available online.
