Sept. 30, 2014—The Marlton, NJ., location of Collision Care Auto Body Centers helped its local community create a Sept. 11 memorial by restoring a steel beam from the fallen twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York, the company announced on Tuesday.
Approached by Evesham Township Councilman Bob DiEnna if they were up to the task, Lou Berman, vice president of sales for Collision Care said he obliged “without hesitation.”
“The decision to do this was easy, and it was my way of taking advantage of an opportunity to do something more,” Berman said in a press release. “When [Collision Care] CEO Val Fichera was informed of this, he immediately empowered everyone to do all that was necessary to take the proper precautions and to solicit and engage the materials and manpower needed to restore and preserve this piece of history.”
Collision Care has seven locations in the Philadelphia area.
