StripIR heater series

Feb. 26, 2008

Heating the smallest of spaces Research Inc. presents the StripIR heater series. Strip heaters use parabolic reflectors to apply heat to narrow strips. Typical applications include drying paint, curing adhesive, drying ink, forming plastic, stress relieving metal and heating shrink tubing. StripIR heaters are adjustable to meet specific heating needs. A modular design allows for a variety of installation configurations. StripIR lamps heat up and cool down instantly in response to power control signals. They reach 90 percent of full operating temperature within three seconds of a cold start. The radiant energy dissipates to ten percent, five seconds after the power supply is disconnected.
