Lincoln Electric will host educational seminars featuring its proprietary CAD software – standard with its Torchmate line of plasma-cutting tables – in Booth No. 24643 at this year’s SEMA Show. Representatives from Lincoln Electric’s cutting systems group will be available to answer questions and teach attendees how to design and cut metal parts from start to finish.

For all of the efficiencies and benefits plasma systems offer, the technical challenges of mastering related software are a recognized barrier to entry for many fabricators. This may represent a missed opportunity for improving quality, operational efficiency and productivity.

Lincoln Electric’s software streamlines and improves operator control of plasma-cutting systems with a newly redesigned touch-screen interface, according to the company. SEMA show attendees can improve their proficiency with the machines after learning just a few easy tips and a quick hands-on tutorial. These short overviews are aimed at eliminating the concerns that come with learning how to operate the new machine.
