Pulstar ef1 Pulse Plug demonstrates horsepower increase for 2012 Ford Focus
The Pulstar® ef1 Pulse Plug for the 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder 2012 Ford Focus has shown an increase of four horsepower (HP) over stock plugs in dyno testing conducted by Enerpulse Inc.
Pulstar Pulse Plugs look like a spark plug on the outside, but a unique capacitor-based circuit inside captures energy normally wasted by spark plugs and generates a spark with 20,000 times greater energy. In third-party tests at certified labs, and internally at Enerpulse, Pulstar demonstrated improvements in engine performance and increased fuel economy by an average of six percent when compared to conventional spark plugs, even in “plug-and-play” installations.
The ad1 Pulstar Pulse Plug is also available for the 2010-2011 Focus with an 18 mm reach length, 14 mm thread diameter, and tapered seat. For more information, including other sport compact applications, phone 888-800-6700, or visit www.pulstar.com.
