As OEMs increasingly move to boosted systems to satisfy consumers’ demand for performance paired with fuel economy, there is an urgent need for innovative diagnostic equipment designed specifically for turbos.

Parker announced that PowerSmoke® is now OEM-approved. A major technological advance, PowerSmoke® is the only diagnostic leak detector that can, in a single procedure, reliably detect any high-pressure leak, pinpoint its exact location, and precisely identify failing components.  According to Mr. Parker, “Power Smoke® eliminates come-backs, reduces buy-backs, reduces warranty claims, and drastically reduces diagnostic time.”

One of the unique features of PowerSmoke® is that it produces a highly visible vapor that is completely free of dyes and other contaminants that are not recommended by many OEMs.
