The company has expanded its ReadyMount line by 25 percent, adding 50 new SKUs, 40 of which are first to market. All ReadyMount shocks are fit, ride and unit tested in 10 Gabriel-designed tests. The 40 first to market designs fit mid-2000s Toyota Corolla and Camry, Pontiac G6, Chevrolet Malibu, Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Ford Crown Victoria, according to the company.
Across the board, the company has unveiled 315 new SKUs — 270 for light duty vehicles and 45 for the heavy-duty market. The company notes that it now leads the heavy-duty side by 43 percent.
“It’s a continuation of our story from expanding our coverage to leading our coverage,” says Lisa Bahash, president and CEO of Gabriel.
In addition to the new SKUs, Gabriel is furthering is education with an enhanced The Answerman section on its website, including new videos on stopping distance and shorter technical tips.
Bahash says the new videos are part of the ways Gabriel is working to reach younger technicians and educate them on shocks. That way, the technicians will know what they can take on and do. They include “what are the right tips and the right videos” for these techs, she adds.
The company also announced that it has received the AutoZone Extra Miler Award, presented to “one who is unfazed by obstacles, goes above and beyond the call of duty, exceeds expectations and consistently does more than expected,” according to information from Gabriel.
“Gabriel appreciates this recognition from AutoZone,” Bahash says. “We received this award because of the efforts of the entire Gabriel family, not one team or one facility or one group of individuals. It took little and big efforts, every day, by every individual at Gabriel. Congratulations to the entire Gabriel organization.”
