Technology company purchases aftermarket manufacturer

K&H Surface Technologies, a repair products manufacturer, has been purchased by 3M, a diversified technology company.

Based in Austrailia, K&H is geared toward the professional and do-it-yourself aftermarket repair markets.

The acquisition will add body fillers, surface preparation and auto retail products, and mould release agents to 3M's full-line of aftermarket auto body repair products. It will also expand 3M's automotive aftermarket repair solutions in Australia.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
