The BWD Vehicle Service Professionals (VSP) technical assistance hotline has been given a new name and a new logo for 2008. The company has announced that, effective immediately, the program will be known as the BWD Tech Team. These changes reflect BWD's commitment to delivering high-tech solutions to help professional installers diagnose and fix vehicles quickly and accurately.
"The same quality technical assistance given to more than 40,000 callers to the VSP Technical Hotline during 2007 is now available to professional installers calling the BWD Tech Team," said Ernie Richstein, technical support program manager. "We provide valuable information that gives members an advantage when dealing with tough diagnostic problems."
BWD Tech Team members benefit from the expertise of BWD’s highly trained ASE technicians who have a minimum of five years experience in both OE and independent automotive shops supported by factory and in-house training, backed up by a comprehensive factory manual library and multiple electronic libraries, in addition to a database of previous phone calls with their solutions.
