Technicians looking for tips and tools to help with the installation of alternators and starters now have a new online resource to consult. AIM, maker of new and remanufactured rotating electrical products for both import and domestic vehicles, has unveiled a new Web site that supports the company's "AIM Power in Motion" branding and marketing initiative announced earlier this year. "We have loaded our Web site with lots of useful resources to help technicians, distributors of our products and rebuilders of rotating electrical products," says Steven Seabourne, president and CEO of AIM. The AIM Web site includes a handy "Technician's Toolbox" section with tips and tools for diagnostics, along with frequently asked questions answered by AIM's engineering department on alternator and starter issues, and white papers produced by the company. It also features a marketing support section with company logos, images and brochures that are available for download. Access to the company's electronic catalog is also offered through the Web site. This includes catalog information for the company's remanufactured units and component parts for rebuilders under the AIM brand, remanufactured alternators and starters under the Talon™ brand, and new alternators and starters under the Xtreme™ brand. For more information on AIM, visit the company's Web site. |
