Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) President Bill Gager announced recently that a seminar on "New Technologies for Salvaging Cores" will be presented on Oct. 30, 2011 at the International BIG R Show.
The presenter will be Gary Reed, CEO of Lock-N-Stitch, Inc. in Turlock, Calif. Reed has more than 40 years of experience in the casting repair business. He will present step-by-step procedures for metal stitching cracks in cast aluminum and cast iron parts. Several different repairs will be shown in video and slide show formats to help attendees understand how these products are used and worked.
“Learn how you can benefit by salvaging more cores with these unique methods," Gager states. "You'll see some unbelievable repairs to castings recently completed by Lock-N-Stitch technicians.”
“This session on salvaging cores will drop more dollars to your bottom line,” adds Gager.
