Showpower 2011 – the Transmission/Undercar Expo – will take place March 17-19 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
Beginning in 1995, the annual Showpower Expo has served specialty aftermarket retailers, delivering a mix of education, information and product exhibits. Showpower exposes retailers to products and services that improve and expand their businesses.
Undercar seminars for the upcoming trade show are already being finalized, including “Why and How to Reset Steering-Angle Sensors on Today’s Vehicles.” Emission-controls updates and a segment discussing the advantages of selling performance products also will be included in the seminar schedule.
Transmission technical workshops emphasize proper diagnostic strategies and correct rebuilding procedures from the industry’s leading instructors and hands-on rebuilders.
Retail-shop management sessions will explore the realms of marketing, human resources and profit maximization.
The Showpower seminar forums are an integral component in increasing the value of exhibits. Learning how to profitably make use of equipment and other products creates intense interest in examining the sources of those lines immediately in the Showpower exhibition hall.
PAGE 2Michelle Dickemann, Showpower coordinator, notes that Indianapolis was chosen to meet the events requirements of being at once easily affordable and accessible.
Robert Jacobsmeyer, Showpower exhibit manager, observes that Indianapolis is within a day’s drive of more than half the nation’s population.
“The Westin Indianapolis, adjacent and connected to the convention center by the skywalk, is headquarters hotel for Showpower,” Dickemann says. “Those participating will find an affordable, discounted rate.”
