SUBJECT: Intermittent MIL illumination with no fault codes might be caused by a temporary grounding of the "Spark Timing Adjustment" terminal used only during vehicle manufacture. When grounded, the MIL illuminates and code P1330 is set, but the MIL will turn off and the code will disappear when the ground connection is removed. The bulletin says a record of this event will be stored in Freeze Frame. The bulletin offers diagnostic help on finding the cause of the event and detailed illustrations.
