Ingersoll Rand has launched a demo kit program for mobile distributors to allow technicians to use tools for a period of time prior to purchase. The initial program features the 2135QTiMAX, a “quiet” version of the industry-leading ½-inch Impactool™.

“The 2135QTiMAX is a best-in-class tool, featuring our patented Quiet Tool technology and the same industry-leading torque as the regular tool,” says Kevin Stamets, business manager for strategic channels with Ingersoll Rand. “This demo program is a great sales strategy for jobbers and allows technicians to experience firsthand the significant reduction in noise level over a sustained period of time.”

The program includes a demo version of the 2135QTiMAX ½-inch Impactool that can be purchased at 50 percent off the standard cost, with the purchase of two regularly priced 2135QTiMAX tools. The demo tool also features a lifetime limited warranty with tool registration.

The 2135QTiMAX weighs only 3.95 pounds while delivering 1,100 foot-pounds of torque with a 21 percent decrease in sound pressure level. In addition, the tool’s feather-touch trigger and patented power regulator allow operators to better apply torque in a variety of demanding applications, according to the company. Patented one-handed forward-reverse controls enable operators to conveniently switch between tasks or applications.

Like the regular tool, the 2135QTiMAX delivers the same durability as the regular tool, featuring a Titanium hammer case, hardcoat anodized end plates, proprietary metallurgy and heat treatment processes.
