April 15 is the last day to get early registration in for a Powerstroke training class on FORD 6.0L D.I.T. Diesel: Powerstroke Troubleshooting. Mike Cleary, Ford Motor Company Certified Senior Master Technician and Powerstroke Engine Specialist, is hosting the training in May in Canada.

Registration will continue after April 15, but not at a discounted early price.

The seminar will cover:
• Powerstroke systems operation.
• Powerstroke subsystem strategies and operating systems.
• How to diagnose and repair the most common fault codes.
• Increase your knowledge of various electronic engine control system components.
• Troubleshooting shortcuts to increase your efficiency.
• Analyze actual case studies in order to become more effective with your diagnostic skills.
• Technical tips, Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) info and other “need to know” info.

The class is Jan. 15 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Registration is $299 Canadian ($289 Canadian if paid by April 15), and includes a full-color manual, handouts and food. The fee will be converted to U.S. dollars at time of receipt. Registrations should be mailed to  P.O. Box 27522, Fresno, CA 93729-7522.

The class will be conducted at Okanahan College, Kelowana Campus, in Kelowana, BC, Canada.

Cleary has served on two separate Ford Technician Advisory Boards, and was recognized by Ford Motor Company for his contributions to Ford as a field technician involved in improving the 6.0L Powerstroke Engine Program. He is an ASE Certified Master Technician in both the Automobile and Heavy Truck categories, as well as being L1 and L2 Certified. He is also certified by the state of California as an Advanced Emission Specialist Technician, and has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology from California State University, Fresno.

He currently owns his own shop, Cleary Automotive, specializing in high tech driveability and electronics repairs on Powerstroke Engine Systems, having worked on Powerstroke vehicles daily since their release in the mid-1994 model year. He also provides high tech drivability and electronics training for technicians worldwide for his training company, Automotive Technical Support Services.
