AIAG adds two to Board of Directors

Neal Cunningham, manager of Strategic Planning and Analysis at Navistar, and Callen (Cal) Vickers, senior director of Purchasing for Nissan North America, Inc., have been named to Automotive Industry Action Group?s (AIAG) 18-member board of directors

Neal Cunningham, manager of Strategic Planning and Analysis at Navistar, and Callen (Cal) Vickers, senior director of Purchasing for Nissan North America, Inc., have been named to Automotive Industry Action Group’s (AIAG) 18-member board of directors.

Cunningham currently is responsible for Navistar’s supply chain planning, network design and analysis, transportation and 3PL procurement, freight payment and 4LP management.

During his 16 years in the transportation business, Cunningham has served in a variety of senior management positions at Navistar International Transportation Corporation, acquiring experience in Engineering/Product Development (Systems Engineering, Program Management, and Business Process Management) and Supply Chain/Logistics.

Vickers is responsible for total cost management, administration and the management of distressed supplier situations for Nissan’s North American’s U.S. and Mexican manufacturing operations. He joined Nissan in 1982 and has held senior management positions in quality engineering and purchasing.

He has extensive experience in the procurement of production parts and supply chain mechanics, as well as cost reduction and optimization techniques. He currently is a board member for the National Minority Supplier Development Council.
