Automotive thinkers win awards for their inventions

A pair of automotive inventors were honored for their ideas and contributions by INPEX®, America 's Largest Invention Trade Show.

Brian Seagriff, of Smithtown, N.Y., and Terry Evans of Charlotte, N.C., both received accolades for their inventions recently in the automotive category.

Seagriff won a silver medal for his Safety Lug Lights. This is a hands-free light that holds the lug nuts while someone is changing a tire or working on a vehicle.

Evans won a gold medal for AlertUs, a warning system to alert oncoming drivers of a disabled or parked vehicles from up to 1,000 meters away.

The pair were honored as part INPEX, The Invention Show, which is a unique trade show that showcases all types of new products and innovations that are available to business and industry.
