It's summer, and the living is...hot. As the temperature rises, so does demand for A/C repairs. To help technicians take the heat off, Robinair, an SPX Brand, is offering $100 cash back on purchases of 34288 and 34788 A/C Refrigerant Recovery & Recharge (RRR) machines.

Customers who purchase one qualifying product from any participating reseller during the promotion period will receive a rebate coupon to fill out and mail to SPX while supplies last. Qualifying products are limited to Robinair 34288 and 34788 Models purchased between June 1 and Aug. 31, 2009. Qualifying customers in the U.S. and Canada will receive a $100 cash card rebate from SPX Service Solutions.

Both of Robinair's J-2788-compliant A/C RRR machines -- the fully-automatic 34788 and the semi-automatic 34288 -- offer superior performance, speed and accuracy, enabling technicians to recover 95 percent of a vehicle's total refrigerant capacity within 30 minutes or less, has a charge accuracy of +/-0.5 oz. and supports mandatory filter changes, according to the manufacturer. Also, the new Robinair unit is compatible with both conventional and hybrid vehicle systems.
