Reading codes and analyzing data are only the start of a complete diagnosis. It's for this reason that Snap-on’s Fast-Track® Troubleshooter offers real-world shortcuts to help technicians complete the job.

Software Bundle 8.4 includes more than 40,000 new or enhanced tips and timesavers for 2001 through 2006 vehicle models, including GM, Ford, Mazda and Chrysler drivetrain tips.

With Software Bundle 8.4, technicians can search from 25-plus years of Troubleshooter coverage for U.S. domestic and Asian vehicle manufacturers for topics such as engine drivability, transmission, ABS, SRS/airbag and body, among others.

Technicians have access to code tips, symptom tips, time savers, common problems and tests and procedures. “We know what technicians are working on, and Snap-on coverage is based on the vehicles that are seen most often in independent repair shops,” says Bill Bruno, vice president of marketing, Snap-on Diagnostics. “As vehicles age, there are many different faults and failures in those vehicles. Only Snap-on offers Fast-Track Troubleshooter tips for those vehicles from technicians, based on real-world experience in the shop. With time saving tips for over a million diagnostic repair procedures, Snap-on Troubleshooter timesaver tips alone will quickly payback the investment.”
