MAZDA: 2006 MPV

SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0452, P0455 or P0456 indicates a malfunction in the EVAP system. The problem might be caused by a leak at the filler pipe flange. During manufacture, welding of the flange causes deformation of the gas cap threads and over time, the cap threads become worn enough to leak. The bulletin includes complete instructions for replacing the fuel tank filler tube and states the repair may be covered under warranty. Bulletin 01-045/08

LAND ROVER: 2006 LR3, Ranger Rover Sport

SUBJECT: A service campaign has been launched to repair specific vehicles that were filled at the factory with contaminated differential oil. The only repair required is to drain and fill both differentials with the correct oil. Land Rover will perform the repair at no charge through the month of November. The bulletin includes part numbers (there are two different oils) and a complete list of affected VINs. Bulletin SB051 Issue 2

AUDI: 2002-04 A6 with CVT automatic transmission and Xenon headlights

SUBJECT: On some vehicles, the gear lever electronics "become inoperative" after switching on the headlights. Specifically, all segments of the gear display will illuminate, the Tiptronic feature will not function and code P1753 will be stored in fault code memory. Cycling the ignition switch will restore normal function. The problem is caused by low voltage in the gear lever circuit board when the headlights are switched on. A revised gear lever circuit board (4B0 713 243E) is available to repair the problem. Bulletin 37 08 07

HONDA: 2007-08 CR-V

SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0134, P0135, P0171 or P1157 indicates a malfunction in the air/fuel ratio sensor. The bulletin states that with high underhood temperatures, grease from a fuse box connector can melt, travel through the wiring harness and drip onto the sensor connector. The repair is to replace the air/fuel ratio sensor and install a wiring harness kit. The bulletin includes part numbers, illustrations, repair instructions and warranty information. Bulletin 08-067

VOLKSWAGEN: 2006-08 Jetta, Rabbit, GTI, Passat and Eos with 2.0L (BPY) Engine

SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0121, P0123, P0221 or P0222 indicates a malfunction in the throttle pedal position sensor. Code P1545 may also be present, indicating a malfunction in the throttle valve control itself. The problem might be caused by poor connections in the wiring harness connectors. Two different repair kits are available, and Volkswagen's electronic parts catalog has information for determining which kit(s) will be needed for the repair. The bulletin includes illustrations and complete instructions for repairing/replacing individual pins/contacts in the connector. Bulletin 01 08 25 2018652

INFINITI: 2000-01 I30, 2002 I35

SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0138, P0139, P0140, P0147, P0158, P0159, P0160 and/or P1167 indicates rear oxygen sensor malfunctions. The fix is to replace both rear oxygen sensors and reprogram the PCM. Not all vehicles are affected. The bulletin includes a list of affected VINs, repair instructions and PCM calibration numbers. Bulletin ITB02-027a

JAGUAR: 2004 X-Type

SUBJECT: A service campaign has been launched to inspect the fuel pump wiring harness. On some vehicles, the connector may have been damaged during manufacture. Water entering the connector can cause corrosion that can make the fuel pump stop running while the vehicle is being driven. The bulletin includes a list of affected VINs, inspection procedures and repair procedures. Replacing the wiring harness involves removing the driveshaft and part of the exhaust system. Bulletin S947

GENERAL MOTORS: 2006-09 Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, Sky Redline

SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0101, P0102, P0103, P0171 or P0172 indicates problems with the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. GM has not found the root cause of the condition and reports a high number of MAF sensors have been replaced and returned under warranty with no problem found with the part. The bulletin requests dealer techs to contact the GM engineering department with information on the malfunction and to receive further instructions. It specifically states that published diagnostic procedures should be followed to correctly diagnose the problem. Bulletin 08-06-04-043

MINI: 2001-06 Mini Cooper (R52), Mini Cooper S (R53), 2005-08 Mini Convertible with manual transmission

Dealer techs are instructed to replace the clutch assembly, release bearing and dual-mass flywheel. The bulletin includes a complete parts list but no repair instructions. Bulletin SI M21 04 08
