The UTI Foundation, in conjunction with NASCAR Angels, NASCAR’s reality TV show that gives deserving individuals a transportation fix, is awarding one $25,000 scholarship to NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C. Aspiring students can now submit their video application for the chance to earn $25,000 toward any program at NASCAR Technical Institute.

NASCAR Technical Institute has an exclusive educational alliance with NASCAR, and is the country’s only technical school to offer both automotive

and NASCAR-specific technology programs.

The school boasts a $12 million, 146,000-square-foot facility, and gives students the training they need to pursue a career as a NASCAR technician, fabricator and engine builder.

“NASCAR Angels, the UTI Foundation and NASCAR Performance work every day to offer a helping hand and give people new opportunities,” says Rusty Wallace, NASCAR Angels host and former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion. “This scholarship takes it to the next level and will make a dream come true for one lucky student.”

“This scholarship will provide one student the unique opportunity to learn alongside NASCAR-trained technicians and acquire the skills necessary to excel as an automotive technician or enter the motorsports industry,” says Veronica Meury, vice president and executive director of the UTI Foundation.

Video applications will be accepted until Nov. 23. The scholarship is open to new students, 17 years or older, who have a high school diploma or equivalent. Complete details and application criteria can be at www.utifoundation.net. For more information, visit www.nascar.com/auto/angels.
