Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation recently announced an expansion of its European power quality sales and service capabilities.

As part of this expansion, Eaton plans to integrate the existing sales and service personnel of PK Electronics NV and Balmen Electronic, S.L., into its current European power quality organization. Both have had long-standing relationships with Eaton as distributors and service providers of Eaton’s Powerware uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems.

“The UPS sales and field service capabilities of these two organizations strengthen our power quality systems offerings by providing access to established distribution channels and customers in Belgium and Luxembourg, and complementing Eaton's existing business in Spain, which expanded with the recent acquisition of MGE Office Protection Systems,” says Randy W. Carson, chief executive officer -- Electrical Group.

Eaton’s global electrical brands, including Cutler-Hammer®, MGE Office Protection Systems™, Powerware, Holec®, MEM®, Santak and Moeller, provide customer-driven PowerChain Management® solutions to serve the power system needs of the industrial, institutional, government, utility, commercial, residential, IT, mission critical and OEM markets worldwide.
