Viking Plastics and Poly-Cast, Inc. have joined up to co-own and operate Poly-Cast Plastics (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., an injection molding company based in Jiang Su, China, and originally established in
2006.

The facility, equipped with state-of-the-art production capabilities and closed-loop process controls, currently supplies the automotive and transportation markets with tight-tolerance, custom-molded components.

The new partnership enables both parties to better serve existing multinational
customers and expand reach to Asian markets.

The companies, both founded in 1972 and having long-established histories
serving the automotive and transportation industries, will jointly own and
operate Poly-Cast Plastics.

"Core to our 50/50 partnership arrangement in China is our team-oriented, Advanced Quality Planning Process, equipping our engineering teams to work together to design, develop and launch products to customers' specific expectations," says Kelly Goodsel, president and CEO of Viking
Plastics. "We anticipate our combined capabilities and engineering-solution expertise will be of special benefit to our multinational customers."

Poly-Cast Plastics (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., currently in operation and running production volumes, is planned to hold 20 injection molding machines with capacities ranging from 55 to 550 tons. At the outset, the company is producing tight tolerance, mechanical/under-the-hood applications (in medium
to high volumes) for the automotive and transportation sectors.
