SBA Hosting Live Web Chat on Regulatory Fairness for Small BusinessesWASHINGTON (Oct. 15, 2007) - Small Business Administration (SBA) National Ombudsman Nicholas Owens will host the October Web chat on "Regulatory Fairness and Your Small Business." Owens, who also serves as assistant administrator for the SBA's Regulatory_Enforcement Fairness program leads_the national effort to ensure fairness in federal regulations on small_business, while working to diminish disputes between small businesses and_federal regulatory agencies. Chat participants will have the opportunity to learn more about how_the Office of the National Ombudsman can help small business owners with_unfair and excessive federal regulatory enforcement, such as repetitive_audits or investigations, excessive fines or other unfair actions by a_federal agency._The SBA's live Web chat series provides business owners the opportunity to_discuss online relevant issues with experts, industry leaders and_successful entrepreneurs.  The Web broadcast will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., ET._Particpants can join the live Web chat by going online to_www.sba.gov, and clicking the "Online Business Chat" icon.
